Do I need to be a trader to be an affiliate?
No. Your audience needs to be interested in trading, finance, or making money online. But you don't need to trade yourself. Theme pages, finance creators, and lifestyle channels often outperform trading-focused creators because their audiences haven't been pitched 100 trading services already.
How long does the tracking cookie last?
Industry-leading 60 days. If a user clicks your link today but waits 59 days to subscribe, you still get the full commission. Most affiliate programs run 24-48 hours. We run 60 days because we know real conversion takes time.
Can I run paid ads to my link?
Yes. Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google ads are all allowed. Two rules: (1) you cannot bid on branded keywords like "TMTradesFx" or "Tiago Mascarenhas", and (2) ads cannot make false earnings claims or unrealistic promises. We'll review your creative if needed.
When and how do I get paid?
Payouts process on the 1st of every month for all cleared earnings from the previous month. We pay via PayPal, USDT (TRC20 or ERC20), or international bank transfer. $100 minimum threshold. Anything below rolls into the next month.
What happens if my referral cancels their subscription?
Recurring commissions only pay while the subscriber is active. If they cancel, your monthly payout from them stops. There are no clawbacks though. If a refund is processed within the first 14 days, that's on us, not on you.
Is there a sub-affiliate program?
Not yet. We're keeping the program lean and focused on direct creators for now. We may add tiered/sub-affiliate options once we hit 100+ active partners.
What support do approved partners get?
A dedicated affiliate manager (me, Tiago, for top performers), creative assets (banners, videos, swipe copy), early access to new products, and direct feedback on which content is converting. We treat real partners like business partners.

Disclosure requirements (FTC compliance)

By joining the program, you agree to disclose your affiliate relationship with TMTradesFx in every piece of promotional content. This is required by the US FTC and equivalent regulators in the UK, EU, Canada, and Australia.

  • Video / livestream: verbal disclosure within the first 60 seconds, plus a written disclosure in the description.
  • Posts / threads: the word "#ad", "#affiliate", or "Affiliate link" near the top of the post. "#sponsored" alone is not sufficient under updated FTC guidance.
  • Newsletter / email: a clear "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link" line before the link.
  • Performance claims: never promise specific earnings, returns, or "guaranteed" outcomes. Reference only publicly verifiable results (e.g. the $64,038 in audited payouts shown on this site) and always pair with a risk warning that trading FX/CFDs carries substantial risk of loss.

Partners who skip disclosures or make non-compliant earnings claims will be removed from the program and forfeit pending commissions. We audit creative on request.
